Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Six Figure Barber Academy collects when you visit sixfigurebarber.academy, how it is used, and who it is shared with. The site is operated by Top Tier Hair Studio LLC ("we", "us"), trading as Six Figure Barber Academy.
Information you give us directly
The marketing site does not require an account and does not ask you to register.
The free guide form on this site asks for an email address. When you submit it, that address is added to our mailing list, which is operated on our behalf by Kajabi, and the guide downloads to your device. We use it to send you occasional emails about the Academy. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time or email us to be removed.
If you ask to book a call, the form asks for your name, email, mobile number and, if you want to share it, your Instagram handle. We use those details to set up the call, prepare for it, and follow up with you about the call and the course by phone, text message and email. Your name and email are added to our Kajabi contact list. The form, along with a record of the consent wording you agreed to and when, is stored by Netlify, which hosts this site. When you pick a time, our scheduling provider, iClosed, receives what you enter on its page, including a few questions about your barbering business, and sends the calendar invite and reminders.
If you message us on Instagram, our messaging tool, ManyChat, may reply automatically, for example with the link to book a call. ManyChat receives your Instagram name and the messages you send, under Instagram's and ManyChat's own terms.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about your call and the course, including automated reminders. Consent is not a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
When you click an enroll button you are taken to our course platform at learn.sixfigurebarber.academy, which is operated by Kajabi. Any account details and payment information you enter there are collected and processed by Kajabi, not by this website. We never see or store your card details.
Information collected automatically
Unless you opt out, we use analytics and advertising tools that collect standard technical information: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site or advertisement that referred you.
When you request a call, book a call or download the free guide, we also pass your email and, where you gave them, your phone number and first name to Meta and Google in hashed (scrambled) form, so they can match the request to the ad you saw. We do this only if you have not opted out.
Besides the browser tags, our own server sends a copy of the same advertising events (for example "page viewed" or "call booked") to Meta through its Conversions API. That copy includes your IP address, browser type, Meta's browser and ad-click identifiers, and the hashed details above, and lets Meta count each event once even when a browser blocks its tag. It follows the same opt-out: if you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, our server sends nothing.
We never put your email, phone number or name in a page address, and we remove them if another service adds them, so they are not passed to analytics or advertising tools that way.

These cookies are set on sixfigurebarber.academy and its checkout subdomain, so a purchase at checkout can be matched to the ad that brought you. Kajabi also sets its own analytics cookies (names beginning rl_) and its own Google Analytics cookie across the domain. If you opt out, our site and server stop setting and renewing the Google and Meta cookies and clear the ones already set.
Checkout and the course run on Kajabi at learn.sixfigurebarber.academy. Kajabi may use its own cookies and our Meta pixel there to measure purchases. An opt-out set on this site is stored in your browser for this site only and may not carry over to checkout. Email us if you want us to exclude you from purchase tracking and we will.
How to opt out
Analytics and advertising tools load when you visit the site. You can switch them off at any time with the "Opt out" button on the privacy notice, the "Do Not Sell or Share My Info" link in the site footer, or this button:
We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, tracking stays off automatically. Your choice is stored in your browser, so clearing this site's data resets it.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising platforms may count as "sharing" or "selling" under some state privacy laws, including in California. You can opt out at any time using the options under "How to opt out" above.
How long we keep it
Browser storage listed above lasts either for your session or until you clear it. We keep call requests and booking details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and customer and purchase records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Data held by Google, Meta, Kajabi, Netlify, iClosed and ManyChat is also subject to their own retention policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email austen.kallas16@gmail.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, usually by writing back to the email address we have on file. You can use an authorized agent, who will need your written permission. We aim to respond within 45 days. If we turn down your request and you disagree, reply to our answer with the word "Appeal" and we will review it again and tell you the outcome, and how to contact your state attorney general if you are still not satisfied.
Children
This site is intended for adults who are working or aspiring barbers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
