DMCA and Copyright Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Six Figure Barber Academy is operated by Top Tier Hair Studio LLC ("we", "us"). We respect copyright and we expect the same from everyone who uses the site or the course. This page explains how to tell us about material you believe infringes your copyright, what to do if your material was removed by mistake, and what happens to accounts that infringe repeatedly.
Designated agent for copyright notices
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to:
Copyright Agent, Top Tier Hair Studio LLC
Top Tier Hair Studio, 3122 N Downer Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53211
Email austen.kallas16@gmail.com
Phone (414) 210-3377
Email is the fastest way to reach the agent. Notices sent anywhere else may take longer to act on.
Sending a takedown notice
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), a notice has to include all six of the following. If any of them is missing we may not be able to act on the notice, and we may come back and ask you for it.
- Your physical or electronic signature, given as the owner of the exclusive right you say has been infringed, or as someone authorised to act for that owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If one notice covers several works in the same place, a representative list of those works is enough.
- Identification of the material you say is infringing and want removed, with enough detail for us to find it. A direct link is best.
- Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the exclusive right or are authorised to act on that owner's behalf.
What we do with a notice
- We remove or disable access to the material named in the notice, normally within a few business days.
- We tell the person who posted it that the material has been removed, send them a copy of your notice, and tell them how to reply.
Your notice is passed to that person in full, including your name and contact details. Send only what you are willing for them to see.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentified, you can send a counter-notice to the agent above. It has to include all four of the following.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or a misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district your address is in, or, if your address is outside the United States, of any judicial district in which we may be found; and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice, or from that person's agent.
We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have gone to court to stop the activity, we may restore the material. In practice that puts restoration between 10 and 14 business days after we forward the counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of repeat infringers. If an account is the subject of more than one valid takedown notice that is not successfully countered, we may end that student's access to the course without a refund. We may also end access for a single serious infringement, such as uploading a course video to a public site or reselling course material.
False notices
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be held liable for the damages that misrepresentation causes, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure the work is yours and the use is not permitted before you send anything.
Our course material
The course videos, written material, worksheets and branding are owned by us or by our licensors. Your access is personal to you. Downloading, copying, reposting, reselling or publishing any part of the course is not permitted, and it is the quickest way to lose access. This is also covered in our Terms of Service.
If you find Academy material posted somewhere it should not be, email the address above and tell us where it is. You do not need to file a formal notice for that.
Material students submit
Students can send us photographs, video and written work as part of the course. You keep ownership of anything you submit. By submitting it you confirm that it is yours to submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and you give us permission to store it, show it to the instructor, and use it inside the course to give you feedback. We ask you separately before using anything you submit in advertising.
If you have submitted something and want it removed, email us and we will take it down.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
